Domystuff.com

This looks like a VERY interesting website. You can post jobs you want done if you don't have the time to get them done yourself. Sort of like a concierge service where people bid on projects that you post.

So in turn to make some extra cash you could bid on projects that someone posts.

It could be something as simple as mowing someones lawn, or grocery shopping for them. Asking for quotes on electrical work. The possibilities are endless. It shows a place where you can rate someone...like you would on ebay or half.com.

That would be very important. If someone has enough bad ratings I wonder if the website kicks them off and bans them. I would hope so.

Definitely something to check out if you need someone to go to the dmv for you. Make some appointments, pick up some groceries. In this day and age when so many people work more than 40 hours a week its great to know that someone out there would love to help you get those things done for a reasonable fee.

Jason Beghe Interview

He is the first celebrity to leave Scientology and publicly discuss his involvement and then disillusionment with the group. He made it to OT V on Scientology’s “Bridge to Total Freedom” and discovered the best way to get free was to get up and walk out the door.

Sigur Rós

Their new album is scheduled to drop sometime late in 2008. For reasons unknown to anyone but the band themselves, their U.S. tour consists of only four stops: New York, Bonnaroo and the unbelievably lucky cities of Omaha and Kansas City.

Fellow Icelanders Amiina will be both opening and providing string support for the band.

Tickets are available now at Ticketmaster; there is absolutely no excuse for missing this monumentous show.

In other Sigur Rós news: be sure to head over to their website on the morning of Tuesday, May 27th for an announcement that has something to do with this very oblique image.
